The house drew quite a bit of attention from the concerned neighbours because of its modern industrial look, and so the garden needed to be soft and natural in order to temper its hard lines.
The garden is entirely indigenous, using mainly grasses and flowering perennials. Large rocks were placed in focal points around the garden to create areas of permanence to anchor the planting.
